Nor-Vise
Pechetruite sells Nor-vise in Europe. As you can see on the picture below, the vise is a new concept. It is probably the ultimate in line-rotary vise .
The Nor-Vise Concept is to position the hook on the centerline of rotation and then turn the hook rather than wrap hand over hand around the hook. A thread post, aligned with the center of rotation, permits material to be “turned” or “spun” onto the hook without the the tying thread being wrapped on at the same time. It is almost impossible to put a hook in the vise in such a way that the shank is NOT in line with the axis. And since the rotary barrel runs on two high quality sealed machine bearings, It doesn't just rotate, it spins. This spinning quality makes rotary tying a piece of cake. It also makes possible techniques that are impossible with other vises like speed dubbing, making dubbing brushes, and making reinforced herls.
Precision ball bearing and heavy brass hubs enable the Nor-Vise to work like a spinning wheel for dubbing like you have never seen before. Perfectly shaped and textured bodies, with all dubbing material, can be created, without wax better, faster and much easier than by any other method.
The Nor-Vise system will accommodate a variety of jaw designs that can be quickly and easily mounted onto the vise arbor.

Although all four of the different configurations handle nearly any fly tying situation, from very tiny and delicate trout flies to large saltwater patterns, these different designs each excel in certain applications.
The vise and the post must be mounted on a board.

On your left the vise with standard jaw and on the right with the fine point.

 Details of the jaws
To tie larges flies for pike or saltwater, the large in-line conversion is the tool.
On you left, the large jaw with a 6/0 saltwater hook, it can accomodate up to 14 or 16/0.
And for all these extra colored thread, bobbins are available by a pack of 10 or 3

With the Nor-vise, it is easier to tie flies using the automatic bobbin: An amazing innovation, it automatically retracts instantly to the correct tying position yet will remain suspended from the hook where released. The Automatic Bobbin is the perfect thread management tool. Whether you are using a NOR-VISE or any other vise this bobbin will improve, simplify, and speed up your fly tying.
The Nor-Vise is normally provided with “Small In-Line Jaws” and includes a matching Thread Post, Mounting Bolts, Operating and Set-up instructions, Allen Wrench, and a hour long professionally produced instructional video. See extract below
For info on the Nor-vise, see the thread on the forum on : http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/showthread.php?t=19742
